The development team behind the highly-anticipated July Xbox release Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn has today announced a big player milestone for the title - expressing gratitude to its community along the way.
The action RPG arrived day one on Xbox Game Pass earlier this month, and it's now managed to bring in 500,000 players in less than two weeks on the market. Congrats to the team over at A44 Games for this impressive feat!
While we were also pretty hyped for this Game Pass title, in the end, Flintlock proved to be a bit of a mixed bag all told. We granted the game a 'not bad' 6/10 in our Pure Xbox review earlier in the month - which you can check out down below.
Despite our reservations, we still think it's worth joining the 500k players who've already taken to the world of Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, to see what you make of it. If you have an active Game Pass subscription, it's really a no-brainer to download the game and give it a go!
Are you one of the half a million Flintlockers so far? Tell us about your experience with the game down below.

Good for them. This is the sort of AA game that does very well on Game Pass and other subscription services elevating it's player count and avoiding failure like many of it's ilk (Atlas Fallen, Immortals of Aveum, etc.) The added mindshare will also lead to additional sales as it gets more coverage and players recommend it.
@themightyant This was developed by an indie studio with a modest budget. Deck13 has more developers and a big AA publisher backing them up, so it doesn't make sense for them to put an upper-tier AA game on GamePass, not on day one anyway. August buried so many games back then, it's no wonder the sales tanked...
I want to try it, the truth is that if it weren't for Gamepass I would never have considered playing it.
The user reviews are not kind, guess it's a pretty game, but controls are really bad.
Sweet Baby Inc game
I really like the game.
I definitely enjoyed it.
