Remember Fallout: London? This extremely ambitious mod for Fallout 4 on PC was supposed to release a few months ago, but Bethesda's next-gen update for the base game caused issues that resulted in an indefinite delay.
There's still no release date for Fallout: London just yet, but the team continues to work hard on the project in anticipation of a launch in the near future. Here's what they had to say a couple of weeks ago on July 6th:
"The bottom line is that we've sent several builds over to GOG for QA testing and waiting for the final green light. Once they've completed the process of double-checking that Fallout: London and its installer work on all supposed machines, we should be good to go."
"It is in all of our interests that this final QA process is carried out in full, and we are very thankful that GOG is assisting."
Although the wait might be a painful one for excited fans, there's interesting news coming out of it as well. As reported by various outlets, the game has officially added former UK Parliament MP John Bercow as a voice actor.
It seems this mod keeps getting more ambitious by the month, so we're extremely keen to get hands-on with it in the near future! Sadly, as mentioned above, there's no sign of an Xbox release as things stand.
According to the mod's official website, it sounds like it's never going to happen either...
"We do not plan to bring Fallout: London to any platform other than PC at this time. Specific standalone items may be released separately. The community has the permission to convert said standalone items to other platforms."
So, will you be playing Fallout: London when it arrives on PC very soon? Tell us in the comments below!
