We're a few weeks away from the highly-anticipated release of Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn on Xbox Game Pass, and now the title is available to fully pre-download on Xbox consoles.
Right now, Xbox players can download Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn ahead of its July 18 launch, and the open-world RPG is a pretty reasonable download on console. Flintlock clocks in at roughly 16.5GB on Xbox Series X|S.
If we cast our minds back for a minute, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn was first unveiled way back in March 2022 - and at the time it was actually due to launch that year. After a few substantial delays the game is now almost here, and we're quite excited for it!
Anyway, if you're also hyped for this new Game Pass RPG, it might be worth giving it a pre-load right now ahead of its release on July 18th.
Looking forward to this one, Game Pass fans? Tell us if you're getting it installed down below.

I very much enjoyed the PC demo.
I'm hoping if Flintlock does the business, it'll be quite the kick in the teeth for Sony, considering the similarities to Forspoken 🙂
@ironcrow86 It’s also on PlayStation.
@GeeEssEff In that case at least we get it for free 😊
@ironcrow86 I’m looking forward to playing it on gamepass but last time I checked I wasn’t getting that service for free
@ironcrow86

Using the term free (regarding GamePass) will get you into all sorts trouble here... you've been warned 😉😀
@GeeEssEff @Sol4ris facetiousness is very unbecoming 😄
I didn't really get on with Ashen but Flintlock looks quite interesting in combat and traversal. Looking forward to play it.
@ironcrow86
I'm far from being facetious, certain people actually take issue/offence when someone is saying they'll play it for free on Gamepass, it's just how it is😅...
@Sol4ris i think the only people that have that issue, are our friends over in the blue corner (the Sony lot in other words)🙂
@ironcrow86 Lol I mean your using the term facetious in the same way your using the term free…incorrectly. Gamepass is not free and I wasn’t being facetious. @Sol4ris not so much offence..more that it’s just objectively not free.
