Free Play Days: Try These Xbox Games For Free (May 23-26)

Microsoft is bringing a special Free Play Days lineup to Xbox players today, with a total of nine games playable for free on Xbox consoles this weekend.

The reason for such a stacked lineup is because all of this week's games are Warhammer themed, ahead of the 2024 edition of the Warhammer Skulls showcase. The showcase takes place later today, and this Warhammer-flavoured Free Play Days lineup is now live!

Here are all of this weekend's Free Play Days titles:

As usual, you'll need Xbox Game Pass Core (formerly Xbox Live Gold) or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to take part in Xbox's Free Play Days promotion. The above titles are playable for free from today until late on Sunday, May 26.

The vast majority of these games are also on sale right now at up to 90% off, so if you want to keep any beyond this weekend, it's worth a browse of the Free Play Days area to see all the discounts.

  2. Hit the 'Subscriptions' button on the home page
  3. Scroll down to 'Free Play Days' to see the full lineup
  4. Hit the "Install, Included with Gold" or "Free Trial" button
  5. Play your chosen game!
