Microsoft is bringing a special Free Play Days lineup to Xbox players today, with a total of nine games playable for free on Xbox consoles this weekend.
The reason for such a stacked lineup is because all of this week's games are Warhammer themed, ahead of the 2024 edition of the Warhammer Skulls showcase. The showcase takes place later today, and this Warhammer-flavoured Free Play Days lineup is now live!
Here are all of this weekend's Free Play Days titles:
- Blood Bowl 3
- Necromunda: Underhive Wars
- Talisman: Digital Edition
- Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor - Martyr
- Warhammer 40K: Mechanicus
- Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader
- Warhammer Age Of Sigmar: Realms Of Ruin
- Warhammer: Chaosbane
- Warhammer: Vermintide 2
As usual, you'll need Xbox Game Pass Core (formerly Xbox Live Gold) or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to take part in Xbox's Free Play Days promotion. The above titles are playable for free from today until late on Sunday, May 26.
The vast majority of these games are also on sale right now at up to 90% off, so if you want to keep any beyond this weekend, it's worth a browse of the Free Play Days area to see all the discounts.

- Head to the Xbox Store on your console
- Hit the 'Subscriptions' button on the home page
- Scroll down to 'Free Play Days' to see the full lineup
- Hit the "Install, Included with Gold" or "Free Trial" button
- Play your chosen game!

Think I’ll give Rogue Trader a look, it sounds interesting.
I own and played Vermintide 2, Choasbane and Inquisitor. Really enjoyed those 3 games, definitely better in Co-op thou.
Shame Hired Gun doesn't have a free trial.
I'm gonna give Realms of Ruin a try.
Finally some that aren’t just already on game pass or ea play or shovelware. Rogue Trader is definitely the warhammer crown jewel.
So we have a limited time to play these… but I still have a banishers free trial from when that was free to play… maybe that wasn’t free play days.
Gonna try Rogue Trader and Realms of Ruin; can see how they run/control on console and see if they really need PC to play or not!
Oh hang on, only until Sunday? That’s rubbish, got full-time care giving away from Xbox all weekend. Damn.
