We always like to issue a reminder when games are about to leave Xbox Game Pass, but this time around we're putting it out a little early - and that's simply because there are a bunch of great titles in here that deserve your attention.

The obvious one is Back 4 Blood, which was a "day one" Xbox Game Pass release back in 2021. Yes, the hype might have significantly died down since then, but it's still a popular co-op shooter that's worth your attention over the next few days, and the best bit is that the Ultimate Edition is down to just £9.99 / $9.99 as part of the Xbox Spring Sale.
If you don't fancy B4B, horror fans should definitely pay attention to Amnesia: Collection and Amnesia: Rebirth, the latter of which we gave a "Great" 8/10 score to here at Pure Xbox in 2022. SOMA is the other horror game that's leaving Xbox Game Pass in early April, which has an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating on Steam.
Then, you've got Research and Destroy, which is a turn-based action/shooter game with co-op support, and Phantom Abyss is a multiplayer roguelike platformer that's definitely worth a try before it leaves the service.
All of these games will depart Xbox Game Pass on April 15th as mentioned above, so you've still got a couple of days plus a full weekend to check them out. Everything in the list is discounted by at least 20% until the departure date as well, and as mentioned, Back 4 Blood's Ultimate Edition has the biggest discount at 90% in the Xbox Spring Sale.

Did back 4 blood get any better? I really enjoyed Left 4 dead back in the day and I enjoyed what I play of World War z.
@Arcticpandapopz Think it still retained some of the things people didn't like about it. But I can't really remember what that was, if it was the card system or something else.
Regardless, I played a little bit of it in 2023 and it's not up to the level of L4D or L4D2, but it's like a 6/10 solo and possibly reaches a 7.5/10 if you have a squad of friends playing.
Bought both Amnesia games because they were dirt cheap.
@Xeno_Aura Thanks for the reply. That's a shame. I think If I was to get friends to play a zombie game, I would get World War Z.
@Arcticpandapopz Having played both I enjoyed B4B more when playing it in a full squad with friends, however when they couldn't always be on the matchmaking took forever so I had to play it solo more often and that was worse.
I saw that the ultimate edition was £9.99 with all 3 DLC's included so I've picked that up as I've not played any of those so will probs go back and play them.
About two thirds of the way through Soma and it is a really great little atmospheric horror game, very doable in a few days.
I'm not a horror fan so not too worried about these for the most part. I tried B4B when it came out, and it was decent, but my friends just still prefer to play L4D2.
