We haven't heard much about BioWare's next Dragon Age title yet, but a new rumour from industry insider Jeff Grubb hints that the game might be further along than you'd expect for something that was only teased late last year.
Yep, according to the VentureBeat writer, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is still on track to launch this year - and we could see the game in action in the coming months. Here's what Grubb said about the title in a recent episode of Game Mess Decides:
"I assume it'll be shown sometime this summer, could happen at any time though.
It will be released this year, last I heard. They're pretty confident about that — doesn't mean it's a guarantee, could slip — but right now, internally, they expect to release it later this year."
During that teaser from last December, EA and BioWare did confirm that they game would be shown again sometime in Summer 2024, so that seems a likely window for a full Dragon Age: Dreadwolf reveal. We shouldn't have too long to wait then!
In the meantime, Grubb's comments should of course be taken with a good pinch of salt - but as they mostly line up with EA's official wording so far, we do expect to see lots more of the game during the summer months.
