If memory serves isn't this one of those "saves from the base game aren't compatible with this version" situations
@abe_hikura Yeah, that's the big downside here if you've played Control before.
I was really really bored with this one. The DLC might have been a good excuse to give it another chance but not if I have to play the whole game again.
@FraserG I mean it's a huge thing to replay the main game again, I'm no doubt very rusty at the game but the idea of having to face "that boss" again makes my eye twitch, and the kicker it's entirely optional I don't "have to" unlock that outfit
@abe_hikura am I remembering correctly that this game has some nice difficulty sliders including an invincibility mode? Might get you past a tough boss, unless your pride won't let you 😉 I recall finishing the game after struggling with some sections and then an update brought all the difficulty sliders afterwards
The DLCs are great! There are some areas that I found very enjoyable.
Will return to this to do the expansions after recently finishing Alan wake 2
Amazing game, can't wait for the 2nd. Already own so don't need on GP, but highly recommend if you haven't played. The skill tree is quite large but integrated smoothly into the controller. The DLCs were great additions as well.
