Well, the fight isn't over for Master Chief yet, but season two of Paramount's Halo TV Show has officially concluded. After some high and low points throughout the season, the finale was rather action-packed from start to finish.
The season finally got to this pivotal episode - setting the scene for a third season. While we won't go into any serious spoilers for this particular season, the eighth episode of season two was filled with death and plenty of surprises.

master chief does not show his face or butt. this is not halo.
It left me ready for season 3
I've really enjoyed every episode, especially season 2, I think the cast was done well. I'm okay with video game adaptations deviating a bit from the game, but not in extreme way (Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City). Ready for season 3!
i don't mind watching the show but pretty much nothing about it is very 'halo' ,i feel like it is a different show using a halo cosmetic skin.
would like a big budget film now that is actually just like halo game.
They got the feel right in Series 2, showing us Chief as this lucky, unstoppable hero which given the mythology around him and his kill count (as players play him through the games lol) fits well.
Reach was awesome as without his armour it introduced real jeopardy but showed he was still dangerous, and the Halo itself once Chief landed could have been straight out of a scene from Infinite (I loaded the campaign up again after to play to check, and as the show had me hyped for Halo again).
Biggest downside for me is no new campaign DLC to go along with the show, plus no idea when we're getting a new game
The original lore that was made years ago in now retro hardware somehow managed to tell a better story than what we are capable of in 2024.
1st season was atrocious.
2nd season was horrible as well.
Slightly less horrible isn't good enough.
It's like they filmed two different shows and put them together.
Beyond that, horrible writing, bad acting and strange choices on graphics.
No thanks.
11/10
can't wait for season 3!
I'm not interested enough to get or even try paramount+. Maybe if it gets a physical release I will check the series out .
As someone who has played through the single player campaigns, but not a massive fan of the multiplayer, Ive loved watching the TV series as a sort of reboot of the sci-fi franchise.
just wish they'd take the character mapping tech out of Hellblade and take this actor and crew and remake Halo anniversary to a new depth like EA did with Dead Space.
After season 1, I figured the show was on the fast track to being cancelled. After season 2, I can’t wait for 3. What a huge difference in just about everything. Even the choreography for the fights was far better. It could still use some fine tuning here and there, but what a difference 1 season made.
