As we approach the nearby launch of Dragon's Dogma 2, we're starting to hear more and more about Capcom's upcoming RPG, and new details of how the game will perform on Xbox Series X and S have stared to emerge.
During a recent preview event, Game Informer chatted with director Hideaki Itsuno on how the game is running on console. Itsuno confirmed that there won't be any additional visual and/or performance modes, and that the game will run with an uncapped frame rate "aiming to go at around or higher than 30 FPS".
We'll have to see what the final performance profile looks like at launch, but early previews and gameplay footage say that the game largely runs around 30FPS, even if the frame rate is technically uncapped. High frame rate fans will likely have to stick it out at 30FPS with Dragon's Dogma 2!
