We've had a lot of games sitting in the "TBD" section of our Xbox Game Pass 2024 guide for ages now, but two of them have received brand-new release windows this week - in the form of Botany Manor and Magical Delicacy.
The former is a puzzle-exploration game that was previously confirmed for spring and now has a release date of April 9th, while Magical Delicacy is a "wholesome pixel art platformer" that will launch at some point in "Winter 2024".
If you're interested, both games are free to try as part of the Steam Next Fest on PC for the next few days.
To add to these, last year's Xbox Game Preview launch of Inkulinati is getting a full 1.0 release via Xbox Game Pass on February 22nd, and don't forget the new ghostly adventure Hauntii was announced for Game Pass this week as well!
Below, you'll find more details on the latest three games that have been locked-in for Xbox Game Pass:
Inkulinati 1.0 (February 22)
"Inkulinati won the Best Indie Game and Most Original Game awards at Gamescom 2022 and started in Early Access and the Xbox Game Preview program in 2023. With the helpful feedback of their devoted community, the developers have added a ton of content since then and are finally ready to release the full game on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5 as well as fully on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One."
Botany Manor (April 9)
Welcome to Botany Manor, a stately home in 19th century England. You play as inhabitant Arabella Greene, a retired botanist. Explore your house and gardens, filled with research, to figure out the ideal habitat of forgotten flora. Grow each plant to discover the mysterious qualities they hold…
Magical Delicacy (Winter 2024)
In Magical Delicacy, play as Flora, a young witch who has ventured to the beautiful harbor town of Grat in order to grow her magical abilities. Using the power of magic, cook delicious dishes for the townsfolk from a vast array of ingredients you can purchase from local merchants, forage from around the town, or grow in your garden. Customize each dish to your customers’ tastes through a creative cooking system. Explore the charming 2D platforming environment inspired by Metroidvanias, gain new abilities, reach new areas, and unlock shortcuts.

Botany Manor does look like the kind of chill-out game I like (being a fan of Powerwash Simulator, House Flipper etc.) so will give that a go
@fraserg as well Inkulinati’s achievements will register if you play before the full release. Once the full release is done any achievements you earned will automatically be granted to you …
Cleverly indicating Game Pass isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Jez Corden already got told to tell us that consoles are going nowhere. Wonder what other titbits they will feed us before next weeks Business Update Event 😂
Not interested in any of these whatsoever .Seems like the dumping ground for mediocre games at moment
@cornholio005 exactly!! Wtf is this?? This what i spent $800 dollars on xbox/accessories to play?!
Wow people you just don't like videogames.
These games are fine and Gamepass or PSPlus Extra are here also to let us try and expériment.
You don't have to like every game or genre but if you only like big action-packed AAA, you clearly don't like videogames as a whole, you just like big action-packed AAA.
