Microsoft has delivered its latest Xbox Game Pass roundup, this time letting us all know about what's coming and going in the back half of February 2024. We have a great lineup of newcomers, including Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun!
However, we do have a couple of titles leaving the library soon, although it's a very short list this time. Here's what's leaving Xbox Game Pass later this month:
Xbox Game Pass: Leaving Soon (February 29, 2024)
Date | Game | Platform |
February 29 | Madden NFL 22 (EA Play) | Console, PC |
February 29 | Soul Hackers 2 | Console, PC, Cloud |
If you've been enjoying Soul Hackers 2 and want to continue playing it past February 29th, the good news is that it's currently discounted in a big way on the Xbox Store, having been reduced to just £14.99 / $17.99. As for Madden 22, well, newer entries in the series are already included with EA Play & Game Pass Ultimate.
Sad to see either of these go? Discuss down in the comments below!

Had to pause my persona 3 Reload playthrough to get through soul hackers. Going from that game to this one really does hammer home that soul hackers feels like a budget game. The gameplay is still there but everything else is just a bit... lacking. From the music to the presentation, it just can't hold a candle to reload.
Still playing Persona 5, want to play Persona 3 and never got round to playing Soul Hackers. Happy to pick it up for £15.
These games feel like too much of a time-sink to complete whilst on a subscription service.
Soul Hackers 2 is one of those games I started to play but you start to realize that there’s so many better RPGs on GamePass that it’s hard to justify sinking too much time into it.
Put Persona 3 Reload on hold for now to finish up Soul Hackers 2, which has been on my Series X for almost a year. Even though I own the game on disc for PS5. Same with Tales of Arise. I'll play them again on Series X for achievements. And so I don't feel like I downloaded them for nothing.
Heard quite a few times Soul Hackers 2 was underwhelming from the people who played the first game's remaster(?) on 3DS. The combat is solid as expected, but been told everything else is meh. Not bad, just meh. But yeah - better RPGs both on Game Pass and off it for just as cheap.
Soul hackers 2 was awesome I preferred it to persona 3, persona 3 felt very basic especially after playing 4 and 5 tarturus was too simple and got boring palaces on 5 added way more variety and memotos basically was tarturus
