In case you missed it, Halo's fourth episode of Season 2 aired this week, and in one segment in the episode, fans have spotted a neat little Easter egg paying respects to the series' video game history.
Early on in this episode at the beginning of the Covenant invasion of Reach, Master Chief and Corporal Perez stumble across an antique store and an elderly woman who refuses to leave her post. She asks Chief to place a typewriter on a shelf for her, and nearby, you can see what appears to be an original special edition Halo-themed Xbox.
Although it was suggested the series wouldn't necessarily be drawing everything from the Halo video games, Season 2 has a new director. The actor Joseph Morgan even mentioned how he replayed the games (Reach, in particular) when he found out he would be playing James Ackerson.
Again, this is just a cool little Easter egg, and it's nice to see the Paramount series paying its respects to the game series.
Did you spot this Xbox during Episode 4? How are you finding Season 2 so far? Let us know.

master chief does not take off his armor/helmet
@rustyduck He does though. The issue is they're just using a wholly original fanfic that is nothing like the story.
All they had to do was adapt Fall of Reach and it would have been great. Even something like Contact Harvest would have been a better start for the first season.
