We've already heard one of the Halo TV Show's new actors talk up Season 2 - calling it the Halo he "wanted to see", but if you still aren't convinced, some higher-ups working on Paramount's hit series have also chimed in.
Speaking to GamesRadar+ again, the show's executive producer and Microsoft veteran Kiki Wolfkill admits the team wasn't a fan of "every decision" it made in Season 1 but acknowledges how the team was prepared to "step up and do the best" it could to remedy that in Season 2:
"What we’re able to do in season two is actually remedy some of the things we would’ve liked to in season one but you don’t really get the chance to during the course of a season."
The new showrunner David Wiener has also explained how Season 2 makes a swap to a much more subjective perspective in terms of narrative presentation, which results in a much grittier and grounded story:
"Season two is in a much more subjective perspective. We’re with our Spartans in their emotional journeys but even in the combat and the action sequences. We are subject to the fog of war. We’re never seeing things that they don’t see, we don’t know things that they don’t know… Ultimately, the result is a grittier, more grounded, more visceral ride."
So far, Halo Season 2 has been (mostly) well-received by critics. You can get some first impressions of Season 2 in our roundup:
