Xbox's business event revealed a total of four games would be coming to "other consoles" in the future. Two games are smaller titles and the other two are community-driven experiences. Hi-Fi RUSH and Sea Of Thieves along with Pentiment have already been rumoured, so what's the fourth?
We've already heard Obsidian's Grounded could potentially be it, and it seems more sources are now backing up these claims. Game File's Stephen Totilo is confident this is the fourth title. Here's what he had to say:
"Microsoft is not naming the games or platforms today, but Game File expects the four to be Rare’s 2020 multiplayer pirate game Sea of Thieves, Tango Gameworks’ 2023 rhythm-combat game Hi-Fi Rush, and two from Obsidian: 2022 medieval murder mystery Pentiment as well as the studio’s multiplayer survival adventure Grounded. All are from Microsoft’s first-party studios."
Other outlets like the Japanese publication Famitsu have also shared the same list. Totilo isn't quite as sure about which games will release on which platforms (Switch/PS5), but the announcements are apparently "not too far away".
Grounded certainly matches up with Phil's comments about at least a few of the games being "community-driven". Like Sea of Thieves, Grounded has also been continually updated and its community would no doubt welcome a player boost. It's already available on Game Pass as well, if you do want to play it right now.
Keep in mind there is no official confirmation from Xbox just yet. All that we do know is the line up won't include Indiana Jones or Starfield.
What are your thoughts about Grounded potentially coming to other platforms? Let us know in the comments.

Grounded is an awesome game. It would be great if that was one of the games so more people can play it.
@Valkyrian lol, unfortunately.
@Zochmenos Everything was blown out of purporsion on this exclusive news what a waste of energy nobody cares if hi-fi rush grounded or anything like that goes all the leaks saying halo and gears playing people for fools lining there pockets
Literally couldn't care less about the games going multi ...if they are the rumoured ones
@Valkyrian thats like saying im buying lunch for everyone at work because i want to but next week i expect them to buy me lunch back. Doesnt work that way. Sure it would be good for everyone to be playing all these GaaS games because it gives more people the chance to enjoy more games, keeps servers populated and income flowing to hopefully invest back in to said games. These games would have been offered to blue and red tho not asked for. It certainly wasnt out of the goodness of MS heart. I csn see why these companies hold on to their console exclusives but a Gaas game? Not so much so Helldivers would be a great addition. Maybe something will happen with that one.
I'm mutuals with someone on Twitter who has said since 2021 that Grounded is coming to Switch. I guess we'll find out relatively soon if that comes to fruition.
If it makes anyone here feel any better, they also said that Metroid and/or Donkey Kong could go to Xbox. They were not specific on which ones, how many, etc. but they said that around the same time as Grounded came up.
@Valkyrian for now it is but Helldivers 2 launched on pc day 1. Sony is clearly changing too. Who knows what their exclusive strategy will be in a few years.
Keep this junk, give Switch owners Rare Replay.
@BacklogBrad Even better if a new lease of life on other platforms allows them to expand the experience further!
