Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer celebrates another year on this big spinning rock of ours today - the man himself is now 56 years of age! Happy Birthday Phil, we're glad to see you continue to lead the Xbox team into 2024.
Of course, this year also marks a big occasion for Phil in relation to his position at Xbox. Although his specific job title has changed a little bit over the years, it's now been a whole decade since Phil took over as Head of Xbox. Yep, Phil's been leading the team since 2014!
The actual anniversary for that doesn't arrive until March, but it's definitely worth a mention now as we near the 10-year mark of Phil's tenure. Once again, Happy Birthday Phil, and happy (almost) 10-year anniversary as Xbox boss!
Feel free to drop your birthday wishes for the Head of Xbox down in the comments section below.

I hope I look as good as Phil Spencer when I'm 56, is all I'll say.
Get a new Gears game going Phil
Well we got the most powerful console we got the studios, we got game pass. Happy Birthday and thank you Phil.
Now you got to produce those killer app games and learn to advertise out of the USA in a UK European culture way, else you will never penetrate through where Xbox is at right now Iβm afraid.
Happy birthday Phil and happy soon to be 10 year anniversary!
Can you beat 60, @Kaloudz? π
Phil is a good guy⦠but what has he done for Xbox?? He has been the lead for Xbox since 2014, right after the 360 era⦠and Xbox has gone downhill ever since.
@Fiendish-Beaver I'm 40, will that do?

Well, my eldest child is only 5 years younger than you, @Vipor007! So way to make me feel old... π€£
@Fiendish-Beaver Yet my 1st gaming thing was a Spectrum lol
I had a ZX Spectrum too, @Vipor007. Though my first ever console was an Intellivision, which I bought in about 1980 when I was 17 with the money that I earned working for British Sugar..! π
Happy Birthday Phil!
Keep up the excellent work, I'm loving my Xbox Series X!
