Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has been needlessly controversial so far for Rocksteady and WB Games - the game seemed like a slam-dunk after the team's Arkham trilogy but Live Service elements have stifled fan excitement somewhat. However, after a few delays and changes to the game's structure, the team has announced that a fully-offline mode is coming after release.

On the game's official Discord server, Rocksteady recently said that Kill The Justice League's campaign will be entirely playable offline once the update drops. Here's their full statement on the matter: (thanks, VGC.)

"We’re happy to confirm we are planning to add an offline story mode that will give players the option to experience the main campaign without an internet connection,

We’re planning to provide this update in 2024 and will provide more details when available."

For now, Rocksteady's Justice League game is launching on Xbox Series X|S on February 2nd, 2024 - although those who'd like to play the story mode offline will have to wait a little bit longer to do so. If you're curious as to how the title is shaping up ahead of its launch in a few months, the team delivered a new trailer at last night's The Game Awards, which you can watch up above.
