Friday the 13th: The Game first arrived on Xbox One all the way back in May of 2017, and sadly it's now about to be delisted forever. On December 31st, the game will no longer be purchasable in any form on any platform.
Because of this, Friday the 13th was reduced to just $4.99 a few months ago, and each piece of DLC was dropped to $0.99. That price is staying put until the end of the year, so this is your final chance to pick it up for your Xbox library.
As you can see in the statement above, it's mentioned that Friday the 13th will continue to function until at least December 31st, 2024, which seems to mean it'll still be playable online - although we haven't seen much clarification around this. In any case, there are definitely no dedicated servers, as those were turned off a few years ago.
When the announcement was first made back in June, Friday the 13th actually crept back into the "Top Paid" Xbox charts, so there's clearly still a lot of love for it! It'll be interesting to see what happens in the run up to New Year's Eve...

Does this have any solo content at all?
Another one bites the dust
@Stocksy There are solo missions, 10 I believe, wherein you play as Jason and are given 5 or 6, I forget, challenges to complete in each e.g. killing a certain counselor in a certain way. Fun enough for one time but no reason to ever replay them. Also you can play offline against bots and there is Virtual Cabin 2.0, not sure too much about it as never bothered with it myself, but that is all.
This game is almost near unplayable as it is in public lobbies as whenever the host leaves the entire game closes, which as I recall happens rather often. Something for those who do not have many people to play this with to keep in mind.
@Yukairi thanks mate. Appreciate the answer.
I know it had its issues, but I loved this game. Was such a blast to play. I played it a couple weeks ago and still had so much fun. I will miss it when it’s gone.
It's a solid multi-player horror game. Though gold luck on finding a group. Ever since they announced this players jumped ship
i enjoyed playing offline against the bots. it is a thrill.
