Back in September, the historic Xbox Live Gold service was officially replaced with something called Xbox Game Pass Core, taking away the multiple "free" games per-month and replacing them with a library of Game Pass titles instead.
Xbox Game Pass Core began with a total of 36 titles that members could access at no extra charge, and it's now about to grow to 38! The two new games that will be joining the lineup are Chivalry 2 and Totally Reliable Delivery Service.
Before we take a closer look at each of these, keep in mind that they're already available if you're an Xbox Game Pass for console, PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate member. It's just the Game Pass Core subscription that will be getting access to them for the first time, with both arriving on December 6th.
Here are some more details and trailers:
Chivalry 2 (December 6)
Chivalry 2 is a multiplayer first person slasher inspired by epic medieval movie battles. Players are thrust into the action of every iconic moment of the era - from clashing swords, to storms of flaming arrows, to sprawling castle sieges and more.
Totally Reliable Delivery Service (December 6)
Delivery Attempted. That's the Totally Reliable Delivery Service guarantee! T.R.D.S. is a ragdoll physics simulation about terrible package delivery couriers. Work together using odd machinery, useful gadgets, and the wonders of physics to reliably deliver packages to their destination.
Will you be taking advantage of either of those on Game Pass Core? Tell us in the comments below.

Wonder how many people actually use gamepass core I can't imagine it's to many?
@eire-shabba From the leaks as of April 2022 Xbox Live Gold had around 11.7 million subscribers. (21.9 million Game Pass on console, [edit] apparently not incl. PC). As this is the cheapest way to play online, and the price hasn't changed it's likely a similar number.
Whether that actually use the GP Core games is another story.
Sea of Thieves should be in core
@themightyant there must be some people buying it would be interested to see the numbers now just think game pass ultimate is to good value to not to subscribe?
@eire-shabba I'd argue that GP Ult is too good value to us enthusiasts but if you are a more average gamer who plays less often and plays specific games like COD, Fortnite, Sports, GTA etc. then they probably don't need GP Ultimate.
We're unlikely to see numbers as Xbox very rarely gives these, last update was Jan 2022 I think. Since then it's only been leaks.
I'm just here saying had to read title to this article twice.
The second time wasn't as happy or smiling as much as the first time.
@GhanaViking I agree with you because it's an online first-party game and one of the most popular. Include it with Gold/Core.
@eire-shabba I think people who still had XBLive subs defaulted into it.
