Every now and again, Microsoft likes to give away free Gift Cards to select Xbox owners — usually to celebrate a major sale of some kind — but this time they're being given away for playing a very specific Ubisoft game.
That game is Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, with the Gift Cards seemingly being given out at random to people who have played it at some point in the past year. You can see an example of this in the post below:
Interestingly, we've also seen reports that some Apex Legends players have received something similar over the past few days, although the freebie in that case is a Battle Pass rather than an Xbox Gift Card.
We're interested to know if you've received any messages along these lines - we've had no luck ourselves!
Have you received a free Xbox Gift Card for playing Rainbow Six Siege? Tell us down below.

I got $5 last time they dished some out so I don't think I'll get this, I've not played Siege or Apex for years at this point.
The free battle pass - it cost them nothing and it's a way for EA to get people back into a declining game.
@Cashews Ubisoft owns r6

I actually like this better than those free play days promotion. There should be more
Very confusing why they're willing to give full gift cards away but cut away at the pennies from Rewards Points. Cool for the people who get them though, that's gotta be a nice thing to see randomly.
@Cashews I have selective reading
Got R6 credits
