It's not the first time we've seen NetherRealm Studios bring in a big Hollywood star to voice one of its fighters, and it probably won't be the last. With this in mind, Mortal Kombat 1 has today revealed the return of Nitara, the vampire of Outworld.
She'll be voiced by Megan Fox, known for her roles in the live-action versions of Transformers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and also recently part of the marketing campaign for Blizzard's action RPG, Diablo 4. Here's the social media reveal by Mortal Kombat's co-creator Ed Boon:
Nitara first showed up on the scene back in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. As you can see, the character's likeness also appears to be based on Fox. The actress added how she's honored to be featured in "one of the greatest video games of all time".
What do you think about Nitara's return? Tell us in the comments.

I know who I’m going to practice all my fatalities on now 🙂
"Mortal Kombat, it's been around since gaming was around"
@Fishticon I get what she's saying, the 90's kinda started what we think of gaming and she's a 90's kid who grew up playing MK.
@DennisReynolds don't know about you but I enjoyed a lot of great games in the 80s...
@Deljo cool story, bro!
You forgot Jennifer’s Body.
@Deljo Sure but it crashed and burned. The 90's is when gaming fully took off and everyone wanted to be part of this booming "new" thing, the gaming world we have today is down to what happened in the 90's.
There were rumors Nitara was going to be in this game. Not much of a fan of the design or the actress.
I mean.... but why?
