Today marks the release of eFootball 2024 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and just like the most recent entry in the series, it's another free-to-play release! Konami's latest outing has made a variety of improvements to gameplay while also retaining megastar Lionel Messi as the game's Global Ambassador.
On the pitch, eFootball 2024 promises dribbling and defending improvements in particular, with improved control responses allowing players to "replicate the split-second decisions made at the elite level of football".
You can see some of these in action in the example below:
Konami has also retained a lot of partner clubs for eFootball 2024 such as Manchester United, AC Milan and FC Barcelona, and these are replicated in the game with updated kits, squads and stadiums.
As for the main "Dream Team" mode, eFootball 2024 is running a special Startup Campaign right now allowing you to benefit from various rewards for logging in and playing games, and there's also a new feature called "Boosters" in which you can further enhance the attributes of your favourite players beyond the usual 99 limit.
You can download eFootball 2024 right now from the Xbox Store, and there's even a special "Leo Messi Edition" for £17.19 / $19.99 if you want some extra in-game bonuses including an "Epic" version of the Argentinian from 2022.
"The start of eFootball™ 2024 is finally upon us! The theme for this Season 1 is "eFootball™ 2024 Kickoff".
Featuring the latest data of teams from all around the world, including big clubs from Europe and National Teams!Through the improved gameplay, users can experience a vast enhancement in the realism of attacking and defending plays. Dive into the exciting world of football with eFootball™ 2024!"

When is master league coming out though?
I dread to think how bad this is going be
Been a pes player since iss days...played every pes religiously and even though efootball gameplay is still better than FIFA's....I just don't like the route they have gone....i don't like the fact basic elements like stats have been removed to check your overall win/loss record and win streaks etc ...might be sad to others but one of the things that kept me playing pes all year long used to be trying to beat my best win streak ...
@x3King84 my feelings exactly.
With the exception that I don't even play fifa .
