Fancy winding the clock back to 2007? MEGA has you covered with this new 3:4 scale Xbox 360 Building Set - complete with a boxed copy of Halo 3! Okay, that 'boxed copy' ain't exactly going to beam the full game to your screen, but it does actually work in tandem with the console as it does in real life!
This new nostalgia-fuelled set is now available to pre-order in the US, as a Target exclusive. This thing will cost you $150 to take home and build, but it looks pretty epic, doesn't it?! Here are some details from the retail store listing:
"Inspired by the most influential gaming console of its time, this collector building set celebrates the legacy of the Xbox 360. Jump back in with a fully buildable, light-up console and controller. The console opens to reveal a disc drive (and other Easter eggs); place the Halo 3-themed disc inside to activate the motherboard. Adult builders take note: completing this set unlocks the ultimate achievement."
And here are some of the key features of the MEGA Xbox 360 Building Set:
- Buildable Xbox 360 replica model (3:4 scale), authentically designed with accurate detail
- Includes console and controller with working lights, plus hard drive, game disc and case
- Features a removeable hard drive and side shell panels to reveal an interactive interior
- Bricks and pieces combine with all MEGA building sets and are compatible with other name brands

Roughly the exact same cost as a real Xbox 360. One that you can display, hook up to your wall and then play. Like right now on many sales sites.
This is the dumbest thing I have ever seen - and i see the dumbest things I have ever seen every hour. This is one wins forever.
Does it come with an optional red ring?
Asking for a friend.
This is awesome 😆 While I still have a working 360, it's the newer model that isn't susceptible to red rings, so a buildable interactive replica of the OG model is tempting! With Mountain Dew Game Fuel (Halo edition) rereleasing in November, I can truly get lost in nostalgia 😭
Proper cool looking, Actually looks better than the Xbox 360 lol but yeh it’s pricey. I’d say more for hardcore collectors and enthusiasts than any regular customer.
$150! Lol. This is such a no.
Dear Microsoft: please drop mega and make a deal with Lego!!! Mega quality is… not great.
Do I want this? Hell yeah.
Would I pay 150$ for it? Uhm... 69$ would probably be my sweet spot.
Alternatively if you want a 360 just for display you can but one of the million of ones that don't work and sit it on a shelf all for a fraction of the price.
@Tharsman totally agree about the quality but if lego were doing it ,it would be called limited edition so they could charge the earth and about 12 months later after everyone has paid the extortionate price they will release another exactly the same one but with a different halo box art so its another limited edition and do it all over again
@Martsmall Lego are expensive and I would expect this to be at minimum $100 extra if it came from them, but that comes with quality. Also they have not called either the NES or Atari sets “limited editions” and the NES has been available since before the pandemic. Would not be shocked if it gets discontinued soon.
@Tharsman discontinued then a new number set appears with something different ka ching
@Martsmall that is more common with the licensed “toy” sets like Star Wars and Marvel stuff. It’s more common with other IPs for them to simply vanish and then be at the mercy of poachers on eBay.
I got original Nintendo an TV Lego. That really cool.
$150? You can buy a collection of old broken 360's for that lol.
The 360 came out in 2005!
Kind of cool, but surprisingly expensive.
