Indie hit Stray is finally making its way to Xbox this month - as early as next week in fact! Ahead of the big Xbox launch on August 10th, publisher Annapurna Interactive has set Stray's pre-order page live, and they're offering up a handy little discount.
Yep, if you pre-order Stray ahead of release, you can save 20% on the standard purchase price. That'll make it $23.99 / £19.99 total - although you only have eight days to lock your pre-order discounts in.
From launch day next Thursday, Stray will then revert to its standard price of $29.99 / £24.99, so if you're keen to play this one ASAP, it's probably worth locking that pre-order in. We'll drop the link to Stray's Xbox store page down below:
Last month, we talked about just some of the reasons why we're pretty darn excited for Stray to make the switch to Xbox, and that switch is now mere days away!
Are you thinking of pre-ordering Stray now? Tell us in the comments below!

Yeah I won’t pay for it either.
I played this on the PS5 and thought it was a great game. Very different.
I guess this 20% off is the publishers way of saying sorry we signed a deal with Sony that prevents it from joining Games Pass like our other announced titles. I'm getting it at £19.99 as can see the whole family playing it including the wife 👍
...and pre-ordered.
I had $10 from Microsoft Points, so I only spent $14!
As a big cat lover my hopes were very high, perhaps a bit too high. It was nice but certainly not great. I'm glad I didn't pay for it but didn't have the feeling I was wasting my time either, since it's quite short.
overrated cat walking simulator.
its fine but only cat lovers will get more out of it
played it on ps5 great game not sure why Microsoft aren't putting it on gamepass nothing suprises me anymore with with phil spencer though?
I thought this was a great game but I don't know if I would buy it at $24 USD. I think I would wait until it drops a bit more than that unless you are excited to play it right away.
I waited for the disc version and was sad because I didn’t like the game all that much 😂
@Dan1283 Maybe because they’re putting much better indie games like A Short Hike on GamePass. Played this on PS5 and it was overrated IMO.
@awp69 a short hike ye it looks good as well but it' looks like an 8 bit game come on lol
I would have played it but too many other games to play because it was delayed on Xbox. The itch is gone, I can wait for deep discounts which are sure to come.
@Dan1283 Probably because Sony likely paid to keep it off there for a certain amount of time after their subscription exclusivty was over, can't see any other reason for this average indie game.
