Today's Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023 event was kicked off by none other than Starfield, featuring a live musical performance, an epic new live action trailer, and an appearance by Bethesda's Todd Howard!

You can check out the live action trailer above, set to an orchestral version of Elton John's "Rocket Man".

Here's more information on the trailer:

"Accompanied by a stunning orchestral version of Elton John’s “Rocket Man,” the live action trailer follows our hero on a breathtaking journey through the stars. Experience the hope and danger of setting out into the unknown and get ready for your own adventure when Starfield launches on September 6 on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. Play it day one on Game Pass."

As mentioned, we were also treated to a performance from Starfield composer Inon Zur, which you can watch below.
