Stalker 2 has no-doubt been one of the biggest titles to feature at the Xbox booth this year at Gamescom, and its playable demo has been gaining lots of attention on the show floor. In fact, Xbox's Phil Spencer and Bethesda's Todd Howard have been checking the game out, leading to some amusing results!
The official Stalker Twitter account has posted out a clip of the pair playing some Stalker 2 - with Phil at the helm here. It doesn't exactly go well for the Xbox boss, who dies within about 20 seconds of playing.
Fans have also picked up on Phil's, shall we say unique way of handling the keyboard while playing. It doesn't look particularly conventional buy hey ho, whatever works for you (although it didn't really work in this case...).
Even with Phil's untimely Stalker 2 demise in mind, it's cool to see these two just wandering the Gamescom show floor and checking out some video games. We wonder how Todd got on? Hopefully he managed to survive a bit longer, if he had the time to try the game out!
Which Gamescom 2023 title would you make a beeline for? Let us know where you'd be hanging out down below!

@Moonglow I played a few rounds of Halo Infinite with Phil during a closed playtest of the game.
I know people probably troll and say that he should be working on making Xbox better rather than playing games, but I think people forget that he is a person, too and being head of Xbox is just a job.
That would be no different than telling anyone they should be working instead of enjoying free time - especially when I have a feeling his free time is already pretty limited.
This is why i think gamers themselves should be at the top of their respective gaming divisions and leading the charge. Don't want a suit who doesn't game making gaming decisions, just doesn't make sense.
@Moonglow I mean, I wasn't on him like glue - but I'd help tag-team enemies when nearby like any good teammate would do.
I think he was middle of the pack in team rankings. It was a while ago. I was just honored to be on his team.
Will be good to final get our hands on this game in early 2024.
I like how apologetically Phil backs away after dying. The dev could sense it too, haha. It's nice to see this kind footage though.
I don't know how good this game will be but I am cheering for the game and will buy on day one no matter how good/bad it is. Simply because it is a Ukrainian studio making the game.
