Dead By Daylight really seems to be on a roll at the moment, with its Nicholas Cage DLC grabbing all sorts of attention over the past few months, and a brand-new Alien crossover looking set to prove a major hit later in August.
Dead By Daylight: Alien officially arrives on Tuesday, August 29th, featuring the new Survivor Ellen Ripley alongside the Xenomorph as the new Killer. The new map is Nostromo Wreckage, featuring a fresh take on the iconic ship.
Here's a bit more information on the Xenomorph courtesy of Creative Director Dave Richard:
"What a gift to bring such an icon of horror into Dead by Daylight. Its appearance is so striking, so fear-inducing in itself...but to have it in our game also delivering on horrifying surprise moments really opens the door for fun strategic gameplay. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished with this Chapter.
There's no price for Dead By Daylight: Alien just yet, but we do know that it'll definitely be available across Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Although the base game is included with Xbox Game Pass, this DLC will cost extra.
You can check out some raw gameplay below, along with more details on the character of Ellen Ripley:
"As the sole survivor of the Nostromo, Ellen Ripley is strong-willed, level-headed, and determined. Having overcome relentless threats, she is the embodiment of resilience, making her an invaluable ally to any Survivor groups. She has faced the Xenomorph before and is now in the Entity’s hands. Her fate in this hostile place is still undecided – but there is hope."
