It was officially announced this week that Baldur's Gate 3 would be coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S in 2023, and now it's also been confirmed that the Xbox version will support cross-saves with PC and even PlayStation!
As mentioned by Larian Studios director of publishing Michael Douse, the reason for this is due to the developer's "Larian accounts system". Here's a look at the confirmation on Twitter from earlier today:
If you haven't caught up yet, the reason Baldur's Gate 3 has now been confirmed for Xbox in 2023 is because the Series S version is officially ditching its split-screen component following a meeting with Phil Spencer earlier this week.
It means we shouldn't have to wait long at all to get our hands on this masterpiece, but there's no official release date as of yet. The PlayStation version launches in just two weeks' time on September 6th.
