Street Fighter 6 has put the long-running fighting series back on the map in a big way, and Capcom's well-earned positive word-of-mouth seems to be translating to strong sales performance. Just over a month since launch, the team has announced that SF6 has passed two million units sold worldwide.
To celebrate, Capcom has granted all players "a small token of our appreciation" in the form of an ID Card photo mode frame and a new in-game smart device background - which you can grab from a 'News' section message within SF6. The Japanese developer has also thanked players for "all your continued support" as the game grows in popularity.

We certainly recommended it when we went hands-on with the game for review in May. Our very own PJ O'Reilly felt that Street Fighter 6 made "a triumphant return to Xbox" after the series skipped Xbox consoles with SF5.
Street Fighter 6 isn't resting on any laurels either. Yesterday, the team revealed gameplay for Rashid - the upcoming DLC fighter that'll be added to the character roster on July 24th. We'll drop the Street Fighter 6 Rashid Gameplay Trailer down below so you know what's in store later this month!

I hope it sells at least 8 million more and Street Fighter never dies.
@Cashews I welcome its return. I'm just wishing for my favourite character to join 😊.
People will buy and praise anything these days.
Is 2 million in a month a good number for the franchise? Sales in Japan were rather bad but SF was never a huge seller there
When will they bring back the tournaments in the battlehub? Capcom really need to get that sorted.
