Atomic Heart was a bona fide Xbox Game Pass hit around launch - Mundfish's debut title managed to reach five million players worldwide in just three weeks. It's no surprise, then, that the team isn't finished creating content for it, with DLC now in the works for this crazy alt history Game Pass shooter.
And that craziness looks like it's ramping up with the game's upcoming expansion. The latest DLC 1 trailer introduces us to a new enemy type called 'BEA-D', or as we now like to call them; Atomic Heart's giant robot worms.
Largely like last month's teaser, the above trailer is a short one, but it does show off a bit more of what to expect from the game's first DLC pack. Mundfish is still saying the the add-on is coming this summer, so we should be seeing a bit more of it in action soon.
Of course, Xbox Game Pass players will have to fork out extra for the DLC should they want to play it, which can be done right now via the game's £32.99 / $39.99 Atomic Pass. The Season Pass includes access to four upcoming DLC packs, including this summer's first expansion - but presumably you'll be able to buy it separately as well.
