Earlier this month, we brought you news of multiple new free-to-play games coming to Xbox, and the good part is that they've all been received at least pretty well - which is why they're dominating the "Top Free Games" chart right now!
Looking at the charts in the UK and US, Ubisoft's Trackmania is actually the #1 "Top Free Game" in the UK as things stand, whereas it's #2 in the U.S. behind Call of Duty: Warzone. The action-packed Warlander is also doing great in the UK at #5, while Omega Strikers is performing particularly well in the U.S. in the #6 position.
It's hard to get a proper grasp of things based on Xbox Store reviews, but Trackmania sits at 3.3/5 right now with the only real negatives focusing around its in-game subscription offer, Warlander has an impressive 4/5 stars, and Omega Strikers has 4/5 stars as well. Not a bad month for new free-to-play games!
Below, we'll link back to the articles we published about each of these games earlier this month. If you want to try one for yourself, all you need to do is search for it on the Xbox Store, hit the download button, and away you go!
Trackmania
"Experience the thrills of racing and the joy of creation with Trackmania! Choose among three levels of access to discover all the game has to offer and dive into the most compelling remake of the legendary Trackmania Nations."
Warlander
"Sharpen your blades and ready your warhammers. Omega Strikers
"Join the footbrawl! Smash opponents off the arena and score goals in this lightning-fast 3v3 free-to-play game. Squad up with friends and choose from a growing cast of colorful Strikers to sling slimes, toss tofu, and rocket boost to victory."

I'll have to check out Trackmania and Omega Strikers. Both seem like silly fun.
When I played the beta for Trackmania I kept having constant issues with track legibility, as it wasn't always easy to tell which direction I was meant to turn on more complicated courses. It's not something I have encountered on previous Trackmania titles, so here's hoping that got addressed.
@BBB Good to know, and I appreciate the reply! I'm also glad that I wasn't the only one experiencing this 😆 It was definitely unexpected because Trackmania Turbo rarely had this issue, so I think they could work on better signs/arrows on the track itself so we don't have to resort to trial and error constantly.
Trackmania is amazing. So much content and replayability and easy game to fill five minutes to two hours. Pretty user friendly to make tracks too and easy to submit and get feedback. Warlandia is fun with friends. Definitely feels Pay to win but the gameplay and setting are refreshing.
And rightly so, the new Trackmania is a treat. I do like Ranked online a lot more than the chaotic, Fall Guys-like, Royal tracks though.
Only $10 a year for huge access to a ton of tracks and extra online races. Best f2p deal right now?
