Alt-history first person shooter Atomic Heart made a big splash when it launched straight into Xbox Game Pass back in February, and the dev team isn't done there. The game's first DLC pack has just been teased - now targeting a release "this summer".
It is definitely just a tease right now, with only 15 or so seconds of footage being shown in the above teaser trailer. The clip does showcase a brand new location though, with Mundfish reminding us that "Facility 3826 still has many undiscovered places…"

This upcoming DLC pack is paid content, which means that it won't be available with your Xbox Game Pass subscription. This is 'DLC 1' of four upcoming content packs that form the game's $40 'Atomic Pass'. Here's how the team describes its all-inclusive season pass:
"Expand your Atomic Heart experience with the Atomic Pass and receive four unique DLCs opening up access to new areas and labs, as well as new weapons, new enemies, bosses, an exclusive skin for your glove and more!"
Will you be looking to expand your Atomic Heart experience this summer? Let us know what you think to this first teaser!

Anyone finish this?
I tried this for a few hours and got annoyed with the gameplay and constant terrible chatter of the protagonist (even played it in Russian, cause I read of how bad the English voiceover was).
Usually games with an interesting setting and story gets me past the gameplay issues but not this. Everything just felt cumbersome
@BRT15 It's a good game with many faults. The gameplay is solid though.
My biggest gaming disappointment of the year. Played for a few hours and got bored of the stupid puzzles and dreadful lead character. I was expecting more of an action-shooter and it really failed to deliver.
I'll be passing on this. Was an ok game but not one I'll be forking out on the DLC for.
Wo Long:Fallen Dynasty! Now that's the DLC I'm waiting for
I liked the game on gamepass and completed it
7/10 game for me
Hugely disappointed with this one. It's just not very fun to play. I keep wanting to give it another chance too, but every time I play it, I turn it off within 20-30 minutes. Still, for some reason I do feel compelled to see it through. I'm sure I'll beat this one at some point, but it's been chilling on the backburner for a while. I will certainly not be paying for or playing the DLC.
I finished this game last week and it was pretty unsatisfying. Not to mention super frustrating that the achievements were broken and about half didn’t unlock.
@BRT15 finished it last week really enjoyed it! liked the story liked the gunplay liked the puzzle room dungeons and loved the world itself

I finished it and to me, it is absolutely the best looking game i've played on Series X, but it was a chore to get through. They should have dropped 70% of the puzzles, and dropped the "crispy critters" catchphrase. The ending seemed abrupt. I enjoyed the game enough to finish it, but I don't have any desire to play the DLC.
Loved this game, better than either of the Bioshock sequels, my only complaint is it didnt need the open world sections at all. Traversing it was a bit tedious.
The puzzles are a bit excessive but otherwise thoroughly enjoying it. The swirling pit boss was a pain in the *as. 😂
