'EA Originals' has delivered some interesting games as of late — like February's Wild Hearts on Xbox — and the next in line from the publisher looks just as intriguing. Immortals of Aveum is a magic-based FPS coming to current-gen only platforms in July 2023, and here's a fresh look at the game.
Last week we were introduced to this title via a fairly short trailer, and now the team has dropped a more substantial look at how Immortals of Aveum will actually play. It looks like a fast-paced, bonkers first person shooter that'll try and use its magic abilities to the fullest, and we're looking forward to seeing how it'll all come together this summer.
EA is launching the game on July 20th, so it should have plenty of breathing room from most other AAA first-person shooters on the market this year. We'll have to wait and see how this one turns out, but EA is definitely branching out at the moment with its 'Originals' program.

Am I wrong in assuming this is what avowed is also going to be like? As in first person wielding magic on both hands? If so then I may get this as an appetiser.
I know I'm in the minority, but I'm tired of FPSs.
@Lup I am with you , fps is mot my cup of tea, and sadly xbox is the King of fps.
@UltimateOtaku91 If that's the only criteria, just fire up Skyrim 😂
@InterceptorAlpha Haha true, but I meant as in its fixed, you can't change to normal weapons you only have dual wielding magic, and you can't change it to third person etc
