Although it leaked a few weeks ago, Microsoft has taken its sweet time in officially announcing the new Velocity Green Xbox controller. The company has done just that today though - and it's out now worldwide!
This new pad is a part of the bright and brash flat colour lineup Microsoft has been building out since the launch of Xbox Series X|S, including the Shock Blue, Pulse Red, Deep Pink, and Electric Volt variants.
Here are some lovely shots of the new controller, which definitely brings some 'team green' vibes if we do say so:
As mentioned, Xbox has shadow dropped this one and it is available now directly from the Microsoft Store, with other local retailers to follow. In the US, the Velocity Green controller is $64.99, while here in the UK it'll set you back £54.99.

Of all the greens to choose from they went with bogey, this ain't golf.
@ActionPanther agreed. lets it down, as it did the pink one.
This might be my favourite one so far.
Also, the colour scheme reminds me of Yoshi with the green and white and the black buttons as Yoshi's black eyes.
Love it but I already have 3 Series controllers and One controller. I can easily play 4-player local multiplayer so so need for any more controllers.
I really dislike that green. I couldnt use that.. but im glad there's as much choice as their is, it means theres something for everyone.
And like that nothing of value was gained.
Give us an elite 3 with hall effect sensors.
@Titntin Agreed. I'm assuming they wanted to steer clear of Master Chief green to differentiate it from the stunning special edition MC elite controller.
