There's been a lot of expectation surrounding the release of The Wolf Among Us 2 for years now, and unfortunately we're going to have to wait longer until we can play it, as the game has been delayed out of 2023.

This was confirmed by Telltale Games in a Twitter post earlier today:

The team gave further context to IGN, explaining that the delay is because of a mixture of wanting to avoid crunch, knowing the importance of living up to the hype, and recently choosing to switch from Unreal Engine 4 to 5.

The Wolf Among Us 2 is now scheduled for a 2024 release, but there's no specific date in mind just yet.
