There have been a lot of people eagerly awaiting some news on The Wolf Among Us 2 all year, and Telltale Games has finally given us a progress update on the state of the game, which is now said to be in full production.
As you can see from the tweet below, the latest issue of Game Informer reveals that the sequel will be set six months after the original — and most importantly, it's now in full production, with the script already finalised.
Last week, Telltale Games also issued an 'End of Year' update to all fans on Twitter, highlighting that The Wolf Among Us 2 went into pre-production in December 2019 using Unreal Engine. Unlike the original game, TWAU2 will be released all in one go, so the episodes won't be slowly drip-fed like they were the first time around.
In case you're wondering, this is not the same version of Telltale Games that was shut down a few years ago, as it's now a "whole new studio" under new management. The company says it's "doing things different this time."
Looking forward to The Wolf Among Us 2? Let us know down in the comments below.

Brilliant. I can't wait. I just hope it won't be a 50 pound game like Life is Strange 3.
Thank you for mentioning the difference in who is making it. I was very confused when I saw there was going to be a sequel because I thought the company was gone forever. I don’t keep up on gaming news like I used to!
What does, "Unreal Engine has streamlined dev a lot" mean?
@Snake_V5 probably just means its easier then whateve engine they used previously
im personally super excited about this and the only other game i want a ending to they made was batman i loved the storyline even if the gameplay was meh.....
@BrilliantBill omg this yes i replayed them again over the holidays in Black and White and the family loved the story line and was like um wheres the ending....
Thought this was never going to happen for so long. I thought Season 1 was their best apart from S1 of The Walking Dead. I’ll never forget Lee & Clementine. But this was a close second, looking forward to it.
Loved the first so really looking forward to this.
