You might have seen some talk about the indie game Tchia this week, which arrives today (March 21st) for PS4, PS5 and PC - and if you'd lost hope for a potential Xbox version, it looks like we actually have some good news to share!
Looking back through the developer's tweets, it's mentioned on multiple occasions that the team wants to "make the game as accessible as possible" in the future, which ultimately means bringing it to more platforms.
It seems Tchia will make its way to Xbox eventually, then, and that's good news considering it's been getting some impressive reviews already, with the likes of GamingBible, PC Gamer and God is a Geek all awarding it the equivalent of a 9/10. The Metacritic average is admittedly a little lower though, currently sitting at 79 for the PS5 version. Our sister site, Push Square, gave it a "Good" score of 7/10 in their review.
We'll keep an eye on any news about an Xbox version, and here's a bit more about the game itself:
"A Tropical Open-World adventure. Climb, glide, swim, and sail your boat around a beautiful archipelago in this physics-driven sandbox. Take control of any animal or object you can find, and Jam on your fully playable Ukulele."

We've all heard this a million times
I'm sure it will come to Xbox eventually. It's only a 12 person team in Montréal that made the game. It would make sense for them to first focus on the biggest platforms where they feel the game will succeed the most (PlayStation and PC) and then get it to other platforms later.
Good news, this one looks charming, more the merrier.
Tch Tch Tch Tchia!!!
@Trmn8r This is exactly what I say in my head every single time I think of this game. I'll be disappointed if they didn't somehow include a Chia Pet in the game.
@uptownsoul high on life came out 3 months ago…
Are you okay?
@uptownsoul Just ignore people like that.
@uptownsoul You really want high in life? Eww
So, back to Tchia. I can't believe the game isn't on Switch. Seems like a perfect fit over there.
Hopefully everyone will get it in the near future. Good little game, not earth shattering, but im enjoying it and it would be good to see it on xbox and switch too...
