Activision has officially revealed a proper release date for Crash Team Rumble! Developer Toys for Bob's upcoming Bandicoot spinoff launches June 20th on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, at a base price of $29.99.
That version of the game is also supplemented by a Deluxe Edition at $39.99, bundling in the Season 2 Premium Battle Pass (the standard game contains just the Season 1 pass), 25 tier unlocks, and a customisation pack containing skins and other items.
What's more, if you pre-order any version of Crash Team Rumble, you'll be granted access to an upcoming closed beta. This early look at the game contains five Crash characters and three maps, taking place from April 20th through April 24th.
As for what this spin-off actually is? Well, the title was revealed late last year as a 4v4 multiplayer effort, with an attack vs. defend sort of angle. Each team must try to collect and bank as much 'Wumpa Fruit' as possible, while also stopping the other team from scoring.
"Join the heroes and villains of the Crash universe as they face off in an epic team vs. team Wumpa-collecting, island-hopping championship."
What do you think to this new Crash spinoff? Let us know if you'll be trying it out this summer!

Looks like a F2P title with F2P trappings. $30 is an unattractive price to me, given this.
I usually wait for games to come down anyway but I can't bring myself to buy any ABK games with the acquisition going on.
Well, we still don't know what this game is.
But it's good to see a new crash spinoff.
Huh. An online only game with f2p elements that costs $30. If there’s no single player element or at least a local multiplayer mode, then I’ll wait for a HEAVY discount before trying it… or just wait for it to inevitably got f2p.
Or the Activision/Blizzard acquisition lol.
