As you may well know, Capcom held a free open beta for the upcoming Exoprimal this past weekend, allowing players to get a fairly extensive taste of what's coming to Xbox Game Pass when the full version launches on July 14th.
Fortunately, the feedback seems to have been largely positive so far, with lots of players taking to social media to share how much enjoyment they've had with the game, as well as how much they're looking forward to the release.
The vast majority have good things to say about Exoprimal right now, then, although we've also seen some people suggesting it might struggle to command full price at launch - obviously that doesn't matter for us Game Pass owners!

On topic: Glad to know this is getting good praise. That bodes well for Capcom. I didn't get a change to try it - but multiplayer games aren't really my thing.

Looks exactly what I want from it, pure B-movie fun.
Personally, I thought it was ok. I played a few matches and felt like I got what I needed from it for now. It definitely reminds me of something that would’ve existed generations ago style-wise, but with a heavier online mp focus and a high gloss of paint. I wasn’t inspired to buy it after the beta, but I’m glad it’s on Gamepass, so I don’t have to. I’m hoping there’s more to the game than Wargames.
I enjoyed it for what it’s trying to be. Feels like EDF with dinos which is a good combination to me.
Can't wait to play this game by myself doing the single player campaign only! Looks really good.

Honestly thought it was terrible 😕. But hey I'm happy for the folks that enjoyed it! I played a match with some friends and literally every one of us was...let's say less than enthusiastic.
Capcom has been killing it otherwise though so no biggie. Just not for me.

I downloaded it but was too early to play it. After watching gameplay of it I realized it’s not a game for me.

Its...a mid level time waster. Like others said, probably would have been huge a generation ago.
I wish it was a free to play model, battle pass, skins etc. Luckily this will be on gamepass so that will keep it alive while it's on there....but if it's one of those short lived games on the service...I don't see myself paying anything more than $20 for it...tops. The beta was fun, but no way I can convince the boys to foot out $40 plus for this.
