We're only just kicking off Xbox Game Pass in 2023, and we've already got a confirmation for 2024! Whitethorn Games announced over the weekend that pixel art platformer Magical Delicacy is hitting the service next year.
In the game, you'll play as a young witch called Flora in a metroidvania-inspired cooking experience, where you'll cook, shop, explore and engage in plenty of platforming as you progress through the story.
It looks like this might be an Xbox console exclusive as well!
Here's what you can expect from Magical Delicacy on Xbox Game Pass in 2024:
"A wholesome pixel art platformer. Cook magical delicacies from a vast collection of ingredients in your own shop. Explore an unfamiliar town and deliver tasty treats to the townsfolk. Learn new ways to traverse, discover secrets, and experience a unique witchy world."

Metroidvania, cooking, pixel-art... i'm in!
One of the pictures reminds me of super Mario bros 2, lol.
I like indie games and cooking.
I hope it turns out good.
gags, I thought we were done with the pixel art fetish of 2018.
@uptownsoul Where does it say that happened?
@uptownsoul Sure, but that doesn't mean it was a "paid" exclusive. Maybe they just chose to focus on PC/Xbox for cost reasons at this time. We just don't know. But that doesn't mean that your original point is invalid in general.
Could be cool. We’ll see.
Yet another side scrolling game on par the quality level of Gameboy. Ohhhhhhhh, wooow, game pass such a fantastic value.....if we were living in 1989.
@NEStalgia Exactly!
