Marvel's Midnight Suns developer Firaxis Games has announced that its recent tactical RPG is now free to try on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S! Yep, all current-gen Xbox owners can now get a taste of the action, with the trial period offering up to three hours of gameplay in total.

The Marvel's Midnight Suns free trial covers the opening hours of the game - it works like a full game, but then it locks after three hours of play. That means time is ticking on this one as soon as you open the application, but beyond that, you're free to play whatever you can manage for three hours!

Any progress that you can earn during the demo is carried over to the full game though, if you feel compelled to pick this one up once your free trial concludes. Firaxis says to expect this demo to stay available on digital storefronts through January 27th, 2024.

While three hours is only going to show players a glimpse of what this game has to offer, we reckon it's well worth a go. At launch last December, we scored this one 9/10 in our Pure Xbox review - it's safe to say we were pretty impressed by what the team served up!
