Activision and Infinity Ward have just dropped the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 launch trailer, which finally showcases a bit more of the multiplayer content coming to MW2 this month.
The standouts here are the free maps and modes arriving as part of the game's second major seasonal content drop. Fan favourite modes 'Gun Game' and 'Infected' return this season, along with two not-so-new multiplayer maps 'Dome' and 'Valderas Museum' and the launch of MW2 Ranked Play.
Those are just the 6v6 offerings though, with the Season 2 roadmap well stocked for Warzone 2.0 and 'Ground War' players. Two maps are coming to the base game's big team Ground War mode, while Warzone 2 gets a new map, new POIs and much more this season, including fresh DMZ content.

All of these goodies arrive throughout Season 2 — as shown in the above roadmap — with the majority of the content arriving on Season 2 launch day - February 15th.

In other ABK news it seems the first bit of juicy info has come out of the CMA investigation into the ABK buyout. Microsoft announces, shock horror, that Game Pass cannibalises sales!
While that may seem obvious to most, some of the more fervent posters here might be shocked to hear this as Phil Spencer once said otherwise. Our thoughts are with you at this time

@themightyant brave of you to say it on this site lol
There’s people not happy about the recent updates and I can understand why. Shoot House and Shipment being brought back when they were in MW 2019 and now a map from the Beta that wasn’t available during launch. Dome’s a good one to bring back from MW3 but where’s the proper MW2 classics like Favela, Estate or Highrise?
