Deals: All 30+ Backwards Compatible Games Added To This Week's Xbox Sales (January 24-31)

I miss the excitement of waiting for the next batch of BC games to be added and then seeing if you could be the rush to get a second copy cheap before they all whacked the prices up.

Rallisport 1&2, PGR, Buffy, Amped…. Just a few I wish would have been added.

PSA: GHOST RECON FUTURE SOLDIER NO LONGER WORKS.
Unless they've changed it in the past month.

@Stocksy I miss that feeling as well. I have a huge collection of original Xbox and 360 games and although I am able to play them on original hardware I would love to have the chance to play them on my Series X. One of the main reasons I am excited about Microsoft buying Activision is the hope that it opens up the door for more backwards compatible games. Quake 4, Wolfenstein, Darkwatch, Soldier of Fortune 2, Transformers WfC/FoC, etc. I have friends who only have a Series X or One and it would be awesome for them to have the opportunity to try these games out!

@FraserG I tried offline mode, disconnected, and other suggestions and it still did not work.

@Mrzoomer Wow. Interesting. Good thought and you're right it does have the potential for more BC games.

@Mrzoomer yeah I have the original two set up but something magical about everything on one console and the boosts helped too.

I would play them way more on BC. It’s just easier

@FraserG Agree. FTR, I only tried on Series X. It may still be functional on Series S, One, or 360. Idk. Let us know if you find out.

@FraserG I stand corrected. It's now functioning on my account on series x. You're correct that you have to "go offline" to get past the title screen. This did not work for me previously I'm certain of that. However, once you get the game running you can switch back to "go online" and it will not boot you out of the game unless you try to change your profile.

Wait so if a game doesn't work, why is it on sale?
