Halo Infinite hasn't wasted any time jumping into 2023 - with 343 now announcing a new limited-time event, starting next week on January 17th. It will run until the end of the month.
This new event titled 'Joint Fire' allows Spartans to unlock special JFO-class armor. As shown in the brief teaser, these items include a helmet, visor, shoulder pads and knee pads.
This announcement follows the news yesterday about 'year 2' of the Halo Championship Series. You can get the full rundown in our previous post - including all the competitive updates planned for this year:
Will you be giving this latest event a go when it drops next week? Tell us in the comments.

I will give 343 credit and say they have really upped their game in the past 6 months, still isn't what it should be but its getting there.
More unlocks are great. I hope the February event materialises too.
Nice. Something to do while I wait for season 3.
I’m playing halo 3 campaign on legendary. So much fun. Been thinking about halo and bungie recently after watching no time to die it got me thinking maybe they should have killed the master chief off then 343 wouldn’t have been created or if so they would have had to do something very different
