It's your latest Xbox Game Pass drop day, folks! Two titles are coming to the library today, December 13th, including the much-anticipated High on Life from developer Squanch Games. Elsewhere, we've got another simulator launching straight onto Game Pass in the form of Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator.
Here's an introduction to both of these new Xbox Game Pass titles:
High On Life (Console, PC, Cloud)
From the mind of Justin Roiland comes High On Life. Humanity is being threatened by an alien cartel who wants to use them as drugs. It’s up to you to rescue and partner with charismatic, talking guns, take down Garmantuous and his gang, and save the world!
Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator (Console, PC)
Potion Craft is an alchemist simulator where you physically interact with your tools and ingredients to brew potions. You're in full control of the whole shop: invent new recipes, attract customers and experiment to your heart's content. Just remember: the whole town is counting on you.
Which of these new Game Pass titles will you be playing? Vote in the poll and let us know!

They are really scraping the bottom of the cauldron with these simulators now.
Looking forward to trying High on Life in due course and seeing which side I fall on for this divisive game.
@Enigk I see what you did there. lol
I sat and watched Tammy and the TRex for about 40 mins. Holy Sh*t what a gem that is. Incredible the whole film is in the game, but even more incredible that it was ever made. It's weird stuff like that I can see why people will either love or hate it.
I’ve been playing High on Life and it’s a blast so far. The constant talking from the guns can be annoying, but thankfully that feature can be turned off. Overall, this is an amazing game world that I find unique, and I can’t wait to play more and have fun doing so. I love games that don’t take themselves too seriously.
Really liking HOL too. It does something interesting/different so trying to go in as open minded as possible (fan of R&M maybe helps).
I liked the crazyness in Saints Row too but after a few sequels I had enough. So fully understand if people don't like it. I will take it in several gaming sessions though.
@Enigk Not at all! Potion Craft is a really good and beloved game. Over 11 000 favorable reviews on Steam.
@Sveakungen Yep I've been playing it while HoL downloads and actually found it a sweet little game with a clever potion "map" where you add ingredients to explore in different directions and (hopefully) find new potions.
And the customers and style are scratching the itch from Pentiment that I also loved
@Sveakungen I made a bad joke about the fact that there is new simulator on Xbox every week it seems and this game made the joke very easy. I was not commenting on the quality of the game as I haven't played it so can't judge it.
@CunningPig Yeah the humor definitely seems to be a love it or hate it deal, which is fairly common for comedy anyways. Personally I love it.
@Enigk @Sveakungen @Widey85 Potion Craft is really done a disservice to be billed as a simulator. I guess it's called a simulator because you move the mortar and pestle and stir the cauldron, but really that's just a mechanic for the navigation/exploration of the map. It's really just a crafting/shop game.
Nothing is timed, it's not Diner Dash or Overcooked, which is a plus for me. It's just a chill game I can play windowed on PC while working.
