Update: Well, it's official! Apple TV+ and Apple Music+ are now showing in the Xbox Game Pass Perks library for Ultimate members, with three months of free access on offer for each service.
Full regional details have not been provided, but we can verify these Perks are at least available in the UK.
Original story: It looks like we've got an interesting new addition on the way to the Xbox Game Pass Perks lineup, as both Apple TV+ and Apple Music have been rumoured to be getting free Perks, although specific details have yet to be revealed.
This was shared on Twitter over the weekend by Aggiornamenti Lumia, which is known for scouring the Microsoft Store for content that might not yet be visible to the wider public. Here's what they found in relation to Apple:
When later questioned, they stated these images had something to do with "Xbox Game Pass Perks".
Apple TV+ has never been included as part of Xbox Game Pass Perks before, so we'd definitely welcome the addition - although keep in mind that it'd probably just be a month's free trial or something along those lines.
As for Apple Music, that service has only just become available recently on the Xbox Store as a dedicated app, so it makes sense that we might be getting some free access to increase its visibility. Let's hope that's the case, anyway!
We'll let you know if and when we get confirmation of these Apple services coming to Xbox Game Pass Perks. Would you be interested in trying them? Tell us down in the comments below.

While I'd not pay for it, if it's all there on X at no added eXpense.
I'll use it for sure.
@grumpypotato yeah I really enjoyed Severance and eagerly anticipating the next season. Found all sorts of gems on Apple TV, like Ted Lasso, The Morning Show, and the Shrink Next Door. And the Prehistoric Planet documentary is simply stunning!
I would happily make use of a month's free trial for Apple TV+. It's one of the only streaming services I haven't dipped into yet, so would be nice to have a look through Game Pass.
Wow an Apple perk on a Microsoft service. I guess stranger things have happened...
@Sebatrox most likely. EU never get perks likeApple+ or Paramount+ or whatever.
Still waiting for the Hanks/Spielberg WW2 miniseries masters of the air to get a release date. It was supposed to be late 2022 but that's obviously not happening now. In any case if this is true I'll use my free month towards that. Band of brothers and the Pacific are fantastic and Im sure masters of the air will be too. Been waiting for that show since like 2016 when info started coming out, never would have thought it would be 6+ year years away.
Id prefer some big games. Seriously, nobody bought an xbox to watch tv.
@Titntin ahhhh that sure takes me back! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nULp0pGKCS8
@Savage_Joe lol! thanks for that link, I never saw it before! Thats funny af
@Kaloudz dang that was boogie on his prime 😂
@Titntin call of doodie 😂
My mate just redeemed the perk and the Apple site said 2 months free on Apple Music
Well, I'm using Apple TV app for rental as well, when they deliver 4K and Microsoft own store doesn't the choice is easy
I hate/loathe CrApple!
That said, I'll use it once, just for the new Fraggle Rock show.
I own the original in DVD and Blu-ray!
If you like feed good comedies I highly recommend Ted Lasso and Trying.
So can I grab these perks and use them across all my devices including ones that aren’t Xbox or Microsoft for those 3 months?
I've still got 3 months of each from when I last bought a new Apple device, and I haven't used them. There's more than enough shows to watch elsewhere, and there's nothing on there that's tempting enough to get me to try out.
@belmont MSFT used to own a substantial portion of Apple. They bailed them out circa 2000 or so….
@Kaloudz lol - that one is pretty funny too!
Thanks for sharing, I hadn't seen it..
