Back in September, Atomic Heart developer Mundfish struck a partnership with Focus Entertainment to bring its crazy FPS to market. At the time, the team pushed the game's release window back to "Winter 2022", which runs from the end of December through most of March 2023. Well, a new rumour has now cropped up that pens the exact release date.
According to an anonymous source via WhatIfGaming, Atomic Heart is set to launch on February 21st, 2023. That launch date would also include the game's Xbox Game Pass arrival date, if it is indeed accurate.
At the moment this is just a rumour and should be treated as such, but the date does fall right into the publisher's 'Winter' window. Well-known leaker Snitch has also responded to the news on Twitter:
We now await official confirmation from Focus Entertainment on this one, but in the meantime let's take a look at some recent gameplay of the upcoming Xbox Game Pass shooter. Yep, it still looks absolutely mad!

February is looking packed for me, already want dead island 3, hogwarts legacy, deliver us mars, atelier ryza 3, wild hearts, theatrhythm final bar, kirby return to dreamland and now potentially this.
@ThatFilbo why? There Studio is based in Cyprus and don't pay any taxes to russia.
I guess my Xbox is just not going to be taking a rest anytime soon… I will likely still be playing persona games by the time this launches.
@ThatFilbo You do know that not everyone supports this "madness"?
According to your logic, we should discriminate the devs just because they're Russian? Chile, please don't. You do you boo, but let's not punish regular folks for the sins of their politicians.
@ThatFilbo your a fake gamer easily persuaded by the politics of the day. If you accept these conditions, they will eventually be used against you. Sometimes you should think ahead instead of in the moment.
@ThatFilbo yes yes im sure your not selective with your moral outrage at all. You should probably follow your own advice on the education front. There is nothing more communist then banning people from making a living for moral justifications.
