Need for Speed Unbound is beginning to roll out across Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, as the game's early access 'Palace Edition' has gone live alongside its EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate 10-hour free trial.
With the first batch of players now going hands-on, some initial impressions are beginning to crop up online, and the early reception seems pretty positive so far. Of course, these comments are coming from just a few short hours with Unbound, but we're still pretty encouraged by what we're reading here:
Various people have been likening Unbound to the classic Need for Speed Underground 2, which is music to our ears! The game seems to be impressing folks over on Twitter as you can see...
If these early opinions are revving you up to go and try Criterion's new Need for Speed, the Xbox Game Pass trial is worth a download! The standard version of the game then releases in three days' time on December 2nd. Keep in mind that Need for Speed Unbound unfortunately doesn't have an Xbox One version.
