Call of Duty Warzone 2 hits Xbox later this week, and the team at Infinity Ward has now set the game's preload live on all platforms, well... sort of. The dev has delayed the Season 1 update which coincides with Warzone 2's launch on November 16th, but you can still download the base game and any files currently required for Warzone 2.
Here's what you need to download ahead of the Warzone 2 launch on Xbox:
How To Download Warzone 2 On Xbox
To download Warzone 2, you need to search for the game on Xbox and then hit the "Get" button to add it to your library. Then, select the "Manage Game" button, and you'll be provided with a list of files you can download. Keep in mind that technically, Warzone 2 is included as part of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 package.
As far as we know (our best guess based on what the Xbox Store page is telling us), you'll need to tick the Modern Warfare 2 'Base Game' pack, the 'Warzone2' pack, and the game's 'Content Pack 4' add-on. Scroll down a bit further on this screen to find 'Content Pack 4' tucked into 'add-ons':
You should now be downloading Warzone 2 on your Xbox, which is a around a 50GB download size. Just remember that Infinity Ward is also dropping the delayed Season 1 update before launch, adding all of the Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2 Season 1 content.

I never done Warzone much before other than some solo rounds but always found it hard to play because I’m rubbish. However I’m going to give this a go but doubt I’d be on much because I’d rather play Modern Warfare and also because I’m rubbish.
It always annoyed me how much warzone took over recent COD releases.
If you just want campaign, you can skip warzone, right?

Man o man, the team putting together that trailer! Holy moly what a trailer. Amazing, cant wait to play it. Everything of COD2 is just a masterpiece, love it.
