Forza Motorsport is scheduled to mark the series' return on Xbox Series X and S in the first half of 2023, and the team is keen to know of your feature ideas ahead of launch. Turn 10 has created a 'Suggestions Hub' for fans to submit any ideas they have about potential Forza features, including for the upcoming Forza Motorsport reboot.
The studio says that these suggestions can be for absolutely anything relevant to the franchise, "whether it’s related to cars, tracks, the quality of racing, features, or anything else that fits in Forza". The team will then pick out what's been upvoted the most and look at potentially implementing the most fan-requested features.
The team has warned folks that adding any of these ideas into their games will be a lengthy process, and it may take some time before anything appears in-game. Still, it's a welcome step towards creating a more collaborative process between the community and the dev team, especially for such a long-running Xbox series.
As Forza Motorsport is scheduled to hit Xbox Series X|S and PC next spring, we wouldn't expect these fan suggestions to make it into the game for launch. However, the idea does represent a different future for Forza Motorsport; one where the game could potentially evolve over time, incorporating fan feedback. The fact that Turn 10 hasn't attached a number to its upcoming instalment hints that it could be around for some time!
As for when we'll next see Forza Motorsport 2023 in action? We're not 100% on that just yet. However, the team has been active on Twitter as of late, asking for fan patience when it comes to next seeing Forza Motorsport gameplay. Hopefully it's sooner rather than later!
Are you happy to see Turn 10 take a more open development approach with Forza Motorsport? Let us know down below.

Me thinks September 2023 release.
I’ve always said on here the big three that are supposed to release at latest June 2023 will be as follows:
Redfall before June 2023, meets deadline
FM - August/September 2023, delayed
Starfield - November 2023, delayed.
This isn’t just because of game development but if they release all three by June 2023 as promised it makes no sense.
They will be batched together to tight to each other.
Xbox has no other in house games ready for the second half of 2023.
So for the above reasons spreading these three big games across the whole of 2023 makes sense.
It’s not a bad or negative thing it’s just Xbox should just come out with it so we know.
Oh man, where to start??
The first thing that jumps to mind are endurance races. 1 hour. 2 hour. 1000 mile. 24hr. All of it 😍
The dream of course is to have a game as event rich as Gran Turismo 4 😊
You should be able to pet the dog.
A playstation release
@Dezzy70 if any of those games get pushed back beyond the 12 month window they spent the whole of June promoting then it will be a big face palm moment and Xbox deserve the ridicule they’ll gain from it.
You’d think every game they showed in their June conference would already be at the polishing phase (they’ve been worked on for years…like that guy says, it’s been 7 years since the last Forza). The whole point of denying us any surprises in June was because they apparently finally figured out announcing things early then following announcements with delays wasn’t exactly the best marketing for the brand.
I’m hoping the fact that we haven’t heard of what’s coming the second 12 months is because that’s being saved for next Junes show…and so on, and so on…thus finally creating a scenario where come ‘e3’ we get announcements of games that are out within months rather than 5-10 years down the line like we have been seeing.
@Bleachedsmiles
They actually said these 3 big games would all release by the end of June 2023.
So if they go past that date they are delayed.
Which have predicated 2 off them will be.
@Bleachedsmiles
They have no more big AAA from in house ready for 2023 other than the big 3 I have mentioned.
That’s why they will be spread over all of 2023.
You can see this coming a mile off.
@Dezzy70 What are your sources for that statement?
I can understand having only announced Redfall, Starfield and Forza Motorsport as the big AAA games for the first half, but I don't see why we couldn't have Hellblade II, Contraband, Avowed etc. for the Second half of the year.
You could be right with what you're saying, I just want to know your reasoning or sources
@MattT3142
Absolutely just my own pure prediction nothing else. Rather than anyone in here asking me this and that.
Let’s see you all put you predictions in if all have such faith in Xbox showcase and the big three coming out by end of June 2023 Redfall, FM and Starfield. Then if you really have faith what will be released big AAA wise for the second half of 2023 from Xbox studios.
Come on you faithful xboxers lets see your predictions then.
@MattT3142
I gave my reasoning in my first post on this thread. Second post down from the top.

@Dezzy70 Kinda a little off topic but I'll bite. The reason why there are no games scheduled to release after June 2023 is because Phil requested that all the games they showed during their showcase would be for the next 12 months. Doesn't mean there aren't any games coming out after that, just that if there are they will probably be shown in next year's showcase.

@RedShirtRod
It’s just my own prediction for fun I own a series x with gamepass so no bating here.
It’s just what I think will happen for 2023.
You watch next month Xbox will announce release dates for Redfall, FM and Starfield all releasing before end of June 2023. Then I will get egg on me face.
On a serious note if they did it will put some much need faith back in Xbox studios development and AAA game releases for me personally.
@Dezzy70 Okay, wasn't sure if you were claiming it as fact, but if it's your own prediction fair enough.
My predictions for 2023 from Xbox are something along the lines of:
Redfall - March 2023
Minecraft Legends - April 2023
Forza Motorsport - May 2023
Starfield - June 2023
Contraband - October 2023
Hellblade II - December 2023
I don't see the problem with Redfall, Starfield and Forza all releasing in the first half of 2023 since they all cater to different player bases, so I think there isn't much risk of cannibalising the player-base. One's a hardcore single-player RPG, one's a hardcore racing sim and the other's a single-player or multiplayer FPS depending on preference.
Date's probably very wrong, but will be curious to see. I guess there's also ARA: History Untold and the potential of some unnanounced project like the Stoic game (Project Belfry).
@Dezzy70 erm yes…June 2023…is that not what I basically said?
I’ll be surprised, and yet not, if hell blade 2 doesn’t come out next year.
I would imagine they’ll also have the heavily rumoured Gears remake in there somewhere…which personally I’m not interested in…other than watching all the Xbox centric channels that fed on the last of us remake now singing the praises of ms giving them a Gears remake.
And of course Ghost wire is likely to be in there somewhere.
Also, they’ll be 3rd party deals filling in gaps.
And even if they have nothing to put out on the second half of the year…what makes you think MS cares about that enough to delay games further and spread them out? They didn’t last year when Forza horizon and halo hit within months…they knew they had nothing first party for the first 6 months of 2022 back then…and now we’re looking at a year where it’s taken them 9 months to release a game from their Xbox studios - and that was one that was available to play for nearly a year prior.
If there are further delays to the 3 you named I don’t think it will be because MS is being smart and spreading out the releases to fill an empty second half of 23. I think it will be because they simply weren’t ready in time - which is a pie in the face after the sales pitch or their June conference
@MattT3142
Great release schedule and line up, hope you are right and I’m wrong on this one.
@Bleachedsmiles
Time will tell and we shall see.
But yes if the big three don’t make release by the end of June 2023, the lack of faith in Xbox studios will continue. If they drop just one then of course less so.
@BBB
I know but I enjoy it and it’s cool to see others give a prediction as well.
Actually Xbox could have the best release line up of 2023 if and when we get release dates.
So far from the others only one big in house AAA has a date is BOTW2 May 2023.
Sony have nothing yet 2023 no dates given.
So Xbox could have the best year of all three.
@BBB
What do you think then. What’s your prediction?
Let’s see who is closest.
@BBB
😂😂😂 Very good 😊
@MattT3142 My prediction is similar:
Avowed is another game I think has a chance at 2nd half '23, maybe Nov, or Dec. Obsidian seems to have all their ducks in a row.
As far as Forza Motorsport. All I really want is a more structured career progression than FH5. Rags to riches, not supercars within minutes of starting. Although honestly, I really just want that in FH5 because it's open world and would make the journey much more satisfying if it felt like the whole game wasn't opened up so quickly.
@BBB Shush, I'd rather he keep telling us his delay prediction than the 2 years of stock updates about which convenience stores in the UK have XSX stock on shelves
I just hope its playable offline with a proper single player
A little late too be asking this isn't it? Games been in development for several years at this point
@Would_you_kindly Yeah, hopefully they don't go full GT7 and have online only for a single player game. But that seems to be becoming more of the norm, sadly
I would have hoped they have locked down the feature set by now? Id just like a proper next gen showing. There should be no loading screens ever - fh5 is an absolute joke for this and feels amazingly last gen as a result. Fh4 loads and responds quicker.
I still find it amazing that after two years, this system is still waiting for some 1st party titles that show it off and we are still all guessing at when that might be delivered. Good job MS bought a lot of 3rd party titles to put on gp so the machine doesnt feel pointless to those of us with other systems, at least Ive had good use of it. Id also love them to make it properly backwards compatible.. I thought it was, but having just bought pgr 3 and 4 on disc, Ive discovered tge machine isnt backwards compable at all.. Only for titles they've decided to patch.
I hope we see Motorsport sooner rather than later, and Id love them to release a motorsport controller and include a gyro ffs! Its a standard input for any other gaming system at this point, and rediculous is absent on xbox. Including it in Motorsport with a special release controller would be a fine way to introduce the feature...please!
@SmoothlyRough hope so , would be a massive W for Microsoft aswell could use it in the advertising like how playstation dunked on Xbox for the DRM thing with the Xbox one
It’ll be a shame i can’t play it with my PS5 pad. Gran Turismo 7 an Dirt 5 uses the haptics very well. Feeling the wheels go over different terrain and feeling the clunk through the pad when you change gear really adds to the realism.
