Update: Unfortunately, we've got to pull one of the games out of the list - Humankind has sadly been delayed until further notice on console, so it won't be arriving on November 4th as planned. It's already on PC Game Pass though!
Original story: Once again, we're taking a very early opportunity to look ahead at what's coming to Xbox Game Pass in November 2022, as we've already got six games confirmed for the service next month (barring any late delays).
All of the Xbox Game Pass games confirmed for November 2022 so far are brand-new releases for console, including the likes of Humankind (which is already on PC Game Pass), Football Manager 2023, Gungrave G.O.R.E and the first-party Xbox game Pentiment, which is developed by the talented minds at Obsidian.
We're expecting many, many more additions to Xbox Game Pass in November 2022 over the coming weeks, but for the time being, here's our first glance at what's been announced for next month so far:
The Legend Of Tianding (November 1st)
The Legend of Tianding is a sidescrolling action game about Liao Tianding, the legendary Taiwanese Folk Hero. Explore the dazzling streets of Colonial Japanese Taiwan in the early 20th century.
Ghost Song (November 3rd)
Developed by Old Moon, Ghost Song is an atmospheric 2D adventure that takes you deep beneath the surface of the desolate moon of Lorian. Taking control of a long-dormant Deadsuit, you’ll descend into winding caverns lit only by bioluminescent flora, battle strange and powerful creatures, and acquire new abilities that will help you unearth this alien world’s long-buried secrets.
Humankind (November 4th) - Delayed Indefinitely
HUMANKIND™ is Amplitude Studios’ upcoming historical 4X strategy game where you’ll combine cultures through six different eras to become the most famous empire in history.
Football Manager 2023 (November 8th)
Last season, Football Manager players achieved greatness. Over 400 million matches played, billions of goals scored and 927,013 unbeaten, invincible seasons. Now, get ready to go even bigger and tear it up in FM23.
Pentiment (November 15th)
Set in 16th century Bavaria, Pentiment will take players on a narrative journey through the eyes of Journeyman Artist Andreas Maler during a time of great social unrest. Led by game director Josh Sawyer, this game is brought to life by a talented team inspired by illuminated manuscripts, woodcut prints, and history itself.
Gungrave G.O.R.E (November 22nd)
Gungrave G.O.R.E is a stylish third-person action shooter by South-Korean Studio IGGYMOB, in which you take on the role of Grave, a gunslinger of resurrection and badass anti-hero of your dreams, mowing down tons of enemies in a gory ballet of bullets.
We're looking ahead here as always, but don't forget that October 2022's Xbox Game Pass additions are nowhere near finished yet, with another batch of upcoming titles set to be revealed at some point over the next week-or-so.

Tian Ding and Ghost Song are already on my radar, will be interesting to see how these, and Pentiment, turn out. Fingers crossed.
I'll never doubt Obsidian anymore. Hit after hit. Didn't think much of Pentiment but the more i see of it I'll probably end up giving it a shot.
Gungrave looks like very silly fun, I had not heard of that one...
Definitely be giving gungrave a try.
Pentiment stood out at the showcase. Will give that one a try.
Tian Ding will be a game I definitely try. I’ve been interested in it for a while but didn’t want to play it via Switch. Gungrave also looks really cool - I’ll have to check it out eventually. As for Obsidian, I love their games; however, I just can’t seem to get interested in Pentiment. I’ll have to wait for reviews before giving it a go.
The legend of tianding and gungrave looks great
I didn't remember Gungrave was coming to Game Pass. I enjoyed the PS2 one quite a bit. Will be giving it a go for sure.
Didn’t realize there was a console version of human kind. Getting!
Ghost Song, Pentiment and Gungrave all look fantastic and will definitely get a play.
I've been waiting for humankind since it was announced ages ago. Interested in pentinent too.
Im interested in humankind, pentiment and gungrave. I will at least try those and see how i like them.
I'm.so unbelievably hyped about a new Gungrave game. The first two and the anime are honestly some of my favourite things and I've been waiting for news on this game since it was announced a few years ago now. The tone and style seems very in keeping with the rest of the series and I couldn't be happier.
Pentiment, Ghost Song, and Tianding are all strong maybes for me. With Sonic and Pokémon coming out in November, I don’t think I’ll have time for them, but who knows?
Humankind looks interesting, would like to see some more gameplay.
They don’t half release some ***** on Game Pass!! Mobile games an games that no one buys!! Day one exclusives is the main appeal however Xbox don’t do exclusives at the mo! PS+ extra an premium is leaps an bounds ahead. It simply has better games! Come on Xbox!!! Give us something to look forward to playing!!!
I'll give DMC knock off a go, Humankind could be fun, I assume it's like AoE/Civil? Everything else.... nah.
